Assessment
A comprehensive psychological assessment offers you an opportunity to meet with someone with considerable experience of understanding human behaviour who can bring compassion & sensitivity in understanding your unique journey.

A good assessment is a collaborative process with the intention of helping to make sense of the difficulties you are facing to give you a road map for a way forward. It is about telling your story, understanding how you got to where you are & how would like your story to be shaped in the future. It is also about exploring & uncovering what skills & resources you already have, as well as helping you to develop those you might need to support you in living your best life.

A basic initial assessment usually lasts up to 90 minutes & costs:
£180 for in-person sessions
£150 for online or telephone
I currently can offer sessions either face to face, by telephone, or online via Zoom depending on your needs & preference. The advantage of online or telephone sessions is that therapy can be woven into the fabric of daily life much more easily. It also has distinct advantages for people who don't have access to transport, have difficulties with their health or are living with high levels of fatigue. The advantage of face-to-face sessions however is often the opportunity for a greater degree of attunement & connection. Face-to-face sessions are conducted from the beautiful, tranquil rooms of The Practice Rooms in Broomhill, Sheffield.

During this time we will spend some time building a picture of your current circumstances and your motivations for seeking support. By the end of the session I would be able to give you some feedback as to what I think may be going on for you and a brief overview of the work that I think we could helpfully do together going forward. If I feel further specialist assessment, or an extended assessment is required this will also be discussed.
